Oh how I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS Candace!! What an incredible project and just look at how beautifully that turned out!! It seems just SO fitting for your daughter!! You should make a ton of these and open an itsy shop. Seriously.
Thank you, Chris! I was really happy it came out ok. I put it off for months, afraid I would mess up the lettering :). My daughter and I really want to open an etsy shop. I hope to in the next few months!
I love this, Candace. You are so creative. 🙂
Thanks so much, Trudy! My daughter loved it, so that’s definitely a plus :).
Candace this is so cute! I have an old globe that needs some TLC and could use this. For a long time I have wanted to buy a silhouette vinyl cutting machine. There is so much I could do with it!
They are amazing little machines, Jen! I’m still learning how to use mine. They really can do so much.
Isn’t my daughter so creative! She always has a wonderful and fun project going. Keep up the good work and come on over to my house any time!
Thanks, Mom ;)! This and her fairy garden are still sitting at my house…
Guess we deliver?!
I love this! I have a globe tucked away but may have to pull it out for some updating : )
I have been obsessing over all the globes on Pinterest for months, Mindy! I was so excited to finally get this done :).
I love how this turned out!
I’ve been seeing painted globes quite a bit lately, and I wish I had a globe to paint. lol
Thanks, Kim! I put this off for a long time, but I kept seeing all those cute ones everywhere too. I’m so glad it turned out ok for my very picky daughter :).
I just love this Candace! I’ve been dreaming of finding a globe for our living room and once I do how awesome it would be to do something like this. Now it’s time to get me a globe!!
Blessings to you.
Hi Beth! I’m thinking I want one for my house now too. This was for my daughter. I hope you find one :). I’m planning to check out some yard sales this spring for them to make as gifts. Blessings to you as well!!
This is one of my fave quotes. There are many complainers. We need more doers. We need to act if we want to change. 🙂
I love this quote too, Lux! My daughter has a tattoo that says “Be the change” on her shoulder. It also has black birds just like the ones we put on the globe. I’m proud to say she is definitely a doer and lives by that quote :).
Congratulations Candace – your project rocks and you are one of our Featured Guests at this week’s Inspire Me Monday party at Create With Joy – #167!
Have a lovely week – look forward to seeing what inspires you this week!
Thank you so much! I’m honored. Your party is always packed full of inspiration and creativity. I hope you have a beautiful week as well!
I LOVE this! I’m so sharing this 🙂
Thanks, Joanne! I was sad to see my daughter take it home :). I really liked getting to see it every day!
I share globes! They are in my windowsill in my writing room. But I have none of them changed into such a beautiful thing as yours.. Great idea!
I love globes, Jedidja! I think they are beautiful symbols. I wish I had more to do this on. I’m going to check some garage sales as soon as they start back up here.
Hi Candace! Great post! I have linked to your tutorial in my recent post.
